About Liguria Pizzeria

Artisanal New York–style pizza by the slice, whole pies and Cheesesteaks. Dine-in or takeout.

Located at 1826 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125, Liguria Pizzeria operates as a pizza restaurant serving Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Philadelphia, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Pennsylvania on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (215) 315-8352. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 257 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Its rare for a spot to just open and be THIS incredible, but Liguria Pizzeria achieved that. Sourdough pizza, high quality ingredients, CRISPY undercarriage. The pepperoni long hot slice was delicious. Definitely has a kick which was appreciated. I will absolutely be back in the future for more. They have ample seating too! Friendly staff. Welcome to the neighborhood.

The food is amazing. I had a chicken cheesesteak and my daughter had a cheesesteak with cheese fries. I’m surprised that the place isn’t filled!

WOW β€” after going to italy and eating pizza around the world, my partner and I think this the TOP PIZZA we’ve ever had The dough base is an addicting crunchy crispy texture with a nice bite. The red sauce was a great balance of acidic, tart and punchy. And you can taste the quality of the ingredients. We were SO impressed!! MUST TRY: ⭐️ broken buratta - 1000/10 my favorite! light, refreshing, mildly sweet and acidic ⭐️ tomato pie - 9/10 partner’s favorite, could taste a hint of umami (maybe anchovies) to give that extra depth ⭐️ funghi - 9/10 a little heavier with the cheese. the tiny bites of mushroom were addicting Service: 1000/10 the two folks working the front were so sweet they came out to ask if we liked it. not typical of an order at the counter type place! They were so thoughtful, we ordered two slices each initially and liked it so much we ordered another slice to share amongst the 3 of us and they took the time to cut it into TINY slices! Atmosphere: Beautiful interior with standing tables and a long booth. The glass wall to the kitchen area is cool to watch the masters at work. A great vibe with a buncha condiments and bottle openers next to the vintage glass drink
